That's my fear too, but I'm just hoping he'll try not to disappoint the few who trust him. I don't trust him either. He could toss a gem or give away 6 runs in the first inning if he chooses to.

But it also makes baseball too unpredictable. I can't hit parlays in baseball the way I hit them in soccer. With baseball, wind speed and direction can determine the fate of a game! A pitcher tosses a gem in one game and when people start applauding him he turns a new (and bad) leaf in the next game! Even when your side is ahead by 4 runs in the 8th, you still have to hold your breath. A game that's clearly going Under can sneak into OT and go Over! Yikes!!!
