Rained out Yankees Game Cost ESPN Streaker $100K...ouch
Add another idiot to the ESPN Streak for Cash list, this guy waited until the last minute to make a pick to get to a win 27 streak, and the game rained out so it turned into a push. Imagine losing $100k because of mother nature....and being an idiot and waiting until the last day to make a pick....LOL

Here is the leader board for this month: http://streak.espn.go.com/en/leaders

His name was wejes3, if he would have made 1 more correct pick he would have tied the leader, but would have won the tie breaker because his winning percentage would have been higher. $100K mistake

People are bashing him in his ESPN profile and he deserves all of it: http://sportsnation.espn.go.com/weje...es3/discussion

"Back to back months we have a W27 "Stash" winner! Congrats to our unofficial $100,000 winner, 24-year old Mark B. from Burbank, CA whose BrewCrewFan entry won 27 in a row after the Tigers-Yankees game was rained out, which ruined wejes3's chances at catching him, leaving him at 26. Our monthly winner was Cheryl.G whose 98 wins won $2,500."

Isn't it suspended, not rained out? If that makes a difference of course.

there was another guy who had it wrapped up except he continued making picks and lost due to percentage pts.

another guy who won but had to forfeit the prize cause the law in his state forbids it.

Game was not rained out...it was suspended till tomorrow...

Heavy rain has forced the suspension of Game 1 in New York. Play will resume Saturday with the Tigers and Yanks tied 1-1.

Correction, he lost a 55% chance at $100k, not $100k. In any case, it's his own damn fault for passing up many much better bets over the last few days. What a fool.

$30k wouldve been refunded so why is he fuked?

seriously doubt anyone who plays the streak has $30k laying around.

Pretty sure I could come up with $30k in 2-3 days for a can't lose hedge.
