1. we are not patient most pro poker players are patient and only aim to win a few hands an hour
2. You have to know people most sports bettors are not sociable and sit around checking scores, some have not had social interaction in years

Number 1 I think is the main reason.Don't know about you guys but after playing poker for awhile I just end up saying **** it and go all in on certain hands because I dont want to sit there all day
Like to win or lose right away

i played today i cant remember exact but only won 2 good hands worth anything out of 127 hands dealt one was a full house
other was 2 pair A-9


came into table with $825 left with just over 1k
at one point i was at like 557 as a low point


if you dont have patience and know when to get agressive on reads poker will smoke you quicker than a firecracker..lol
thats why i stick to mostly ring games top 3 pay

Yeah.. back in the day when 'stars was just startin to get big, my friend that I met at Rutgers was a poker genius. He'd sit at his laptop for hours... days... weeks... Playing sit n go's, heads ups, and tourneys. He'd fold 100 hands in a row if he felt like it was the right play. Me on the other hand... If poker stars wasn't going to give me hands, I had to make my own hand. Bluff at pots.... push all in.. ect.

Sports bettors tend to be steamers in poker.They don't exhibit alot of patience after they have a bad beat in sports or poker.It's an over confidence or a get back losses quick mentality I think?
