I have no inside information, but it seems to the 25 limit probably works pretty well for SBR. Since the promo keeps coming back, I assume it is generating extra casino traffic outside the promo period and isn't costing SBR much in terms of people cashing out in the store. The difference between the 75 limit and the 25 is that people like me with insane points make less, but SBR certainly doesn't need to be funding me. With the 25 limit, perhaps more people can make a decent profit - and thus be encouraged to play in the casino later - without SBR losing a bunch to 75 pt/hand bettors.

Additionally, the 25 min prevents someone with only a few points from betting 1-2/hand and building their stack - its an all or nothing endeavor for them. This may help limit losses to people who were already likely to gamble away their daily points while still attracting new customers.

Ultimately, SBR Blackjack is clearly fair in terms of getting the expected outcome ..... longterm. That longterm is key though, because it's insanely, insanely streaky.

Thus, I reckon you need a minimum of 40x stake though - last might I was down 25x at one point, and was down in total for the entire first hour. Dealer beating my 20s with 21, 12 alwaysalways busting out to 22, my doubles all losing etc etc.

Then suddenly it balloons the other way, lots of blackjacks, the doubles start hitting, and I'm up 40x in no time, then at 1hrs45 80x, then another burst and end up 110x. The "luck" factor appeared to have switched ridiculously, even had split aces, both 21 ..... and it happened twice.

Over all the bj promos returns are fair, about spot on the expectation for 5000ish hands. However as above ... stupidly streaky. I can see where people get depressed/paranoid when down for an hour, then quit. Or worse, tilt, play 500 points per hand and bust out. You just need enough hands for the streaks to average out.

right. i started out with maybe around 1500 points or so 2 nights ago which is all i had. i initially turned 500 of those into 3600 before losing it all. so i had 1000 left and proceeded to turn it into 24000 just slowly but surely increasing my bet until i was fluctuating between 500-700 point hands. the next day i blew about 7000 of that until getting it back and actually making an additional 12,000.

then i won 1400 on this promo, paid thaddeus ~2500 points from a loan, and had about 35k+ left. actually won about 9000 points off that to make my balance 44293. i played with the 293 on craps and actually turned that into 2600. i lost it all and got pissed so i went back to BJ and bought in for 1000 lost. 1000 lost. 2000 lost. 4000 lost. then the whole 36000 and NEVER GOT AHEAD ONE TIME on any of those buy-ins. as i said before, i never got that "streak" that you usually get after losing a whole bunch of hands or playing for a very long time. I NEVER TILTED while playing, i.e. i managed my bet sizes properly according to how I was doing.

I must add that the final night I played was the 1st time I had played multi-handed out of the last 3 days. And the ironic thing is the multi-hand game was not an option until after this promo was over.
