I'd be willing to guess most posters feel they have a good grip on their local teams, but really even if you've had great success with them over the years you're not any more dialed in than other cappers which do their homework.

People just sometimes bet with whom their psychologically comfortable with.

I do not follow any of my local teams. I could care less about any team in Ca as a matter of fact. I follow teams all over. My local teams the least.
