Gulbis was -550 on Bodog..... I was willing to put nearly 3k on it to win mere $500..... sometimes the best bets are those not made. Still can't believe he blew that.

Would've topped Tsonga blowing 6-2 tiebreak lead and Almagro blowing 5-2 and serving for match as my biggest and worst beat of all time.

Hey Mikey, welcome aboard and good to see you posting. Am excited to have some new blood to talk tennis with, that way these threads can maybe consist of more than just me, Stacco, Shark and few others.

I'll take 1st set winners on occasion, but for the most part I stick with ML's. The run I'm on lately lucky enough to win a set at all, nevermind taking the 1st.

I'm certain they can be profitable though just like anything else if you put in the proper legwork. Do you have a propensity to get trapped into taking a big favorite from time to time like myself? Gulbis blowing a 5-1 lead in the 3rd set today was excruciating to watch.

Look fwd to chatting more with you tomorrow when we get another thread up for those plays...

Ditto LOL Gulbis killed me today from a winning day. I saw the line keep going up and I hesitated and I ended up taking which led from a winning day to a losing day. You make one of these mistakes and it takes you so many winners to get it back so frustrating. I try avoiding bigger numbers but I still take them. The only two plays I like for tomorrow, one is another larger moneyline. If the line stays steady or goes up slightly I will take it otherwise forget it.

It's hard not to like Verdasco, but I just got burned so I'm not keen on laying the lumber the very next day at all. One concern would be how fresh his legs are coming off his long week of play. Maybe hope he struggles out of the gate and get a really sweet price on him in live betting.
