Jarrett Lee is a smart QB. Good decision maker, good leader, cool calm and confident. But.. Jeffereson adds some athleticsm and versatility ya know the guy can be a playmaker.

Anytime when Lsu had to throw the ball in clutch situations they put in j lee... They will put in jj to run the option if anything J Lee is playing great imo why mess with it. with the defense and rbs and o line all they need lee to be is what you wrote in the quote above.

McElroy was the perfect QB for Bama though. No matter how many throws were made, he kept the mistakes @ a minimum and rarely turned the ball over.


I guess that is how things even out. The best QB(Bray) in the league plays for Tenneessee, which is a middling SEC team. But if Bray played for LSU, or Bama there would be no question who was goin to win the SEC/Natl Champ. Remember those dominant Miami sqauds of the early 2000's had Ken "Check Down" Dorsey.

He hasnt been practicing with the team during his suspension, so I highly doubt he would practice 2-3 days and then get put into game action... Besides, I think they should stick with Lee anyway

Jefferson is LSU's third best quarterback right now, I wish he was suspended permanently. They BETTER not make him the starter again later in the year, he would kill their national title hopes.

Trust me, they are better off without him. Lee is the best game manager on the team and Mettenberger will be their best pure quarterback before his college career is through. Jefferson is a good athlete but not a good quarterback, he is woefully inaccurate and he makes terrible decisions. LSU could have been undefeated with just adequate QB play last year and Jefferson couldn't even give them that.
