Identity theft,I don't comprehend it?Everyone has your personal information today!
They make it sound so shocking when people sign up for accounts and such in your name these days.Absolutely everyone has your personal information from the drivers license bureau, your bank, the hospital&clinic, your place of employment, the place where you ordered Lawrence Welk CD's for your parents Christmas present and the list goes on.So,it's supposed to be astonishing when an order taking clerk making minimum wage decides to gather information and sell it for $$$$ to crooks.Who's to say that these phone clerks at Experian don't sell your info?

Just by cashing checks you advertise your account and bank routing number.Just by posting your phone number in a telephone book you can have some scammer make a charge to your telephone bill.

So then why is it up to the person being ripped off to have to make good on paying everyone back when the places demanding payment are the ones handing out your personal information?

Does anyone here that made alot of charges to debit or credit cards for online gambling purposes the past 10 years worry that when these places close and such that they will charge up your cards and take off with the money?I was worried about that 2 years ago when the banking ban took affect but I never got stung.

It's probably a hassle to change your debit card being that you auto pay for stuff but it's a good feeling getting a new fresh virgin card where noboday has ever seen it before.
