    Pokerstars asking for my SSN#
Lazy Sunday.....was going to do an echeck and they want my SSN# on the form. I don't like that at all.....what do they want that for. Been a while since I did a deposit with these guys.....never used to ask for that in the past.

I used them like two weeks ago for a small amount on e-Check, their limits were low and I gave my SSN#. I wouldn't sweat it, most places that you do an e-Check with will at least require last 4, Poker Stars is as legit and secure as they come.

I think it has to do with confirming the bank account you gave them is actually yours, i reupped with them yeaterday and gave it to them.

I also believe your echeck limit goes up after the first deposit... moneygram is usually what I use but you have to eat the deposit fee... probably not worth for a small deposit though...

you know when pstars started using e-checks you could put anything in the boxes and it would credit you...lasted like a month before they smartened up and fixed it.

When banks offer me CC's over the phone I don't give it out, why the FUKKK would anyone give it to a online gambling den. Especially a shady one like poker stars, they advertise a lot on porn sites, spankwire etc...

People could abuse Neteller in the same way assuming they didn't have the funds to cover at the moment, but ultimately you can't get away with it because it will eventually hit your bank.

That's quite a bold statement. I think it's more accurate just saying, Pinnacle is one of the safest and securest sportsbooks, and Poker Stars is one of the safest poker sites.

I've been there using my SSN w/ no problems and love the e-check feature it is very fast and efficient...

Furthermore, I hear Full Tilt has been bouncing checks and taking absurd amount of time to get payouts. PS payouts are perfect... I was stunned when I turned $33 into $550 and asked for a cashout and I met no resistance at all.

Any alternatives to E-Check for US players depositing to Pokerstars? Looking over their deposit options and E-check seems like the only thing available for Americans.

I just got a check from Full Tilt today came in 5 business days.

Not to bad in my opinion.

yeah i did that a few times then was in the negative in the bank and had to cover...stupid drunken online poker

with the echecks you could put bogus info so they could just lock the account and ask for payment from this fake identity...of course they fixed it but i wonder how much money they were out because of this glitch
