Harrington conned gamblers

A few days ago Harrington claimed he couldn't lift a golf club...what a crock of shit. For those of us who play golf know it is impossible to hit from thick British Open rough with a bad wrist.

It's surprising no one is questioning the injury like they did Tiger's at the US Open.

Retief Goosen and certain golf writers made headlines questioning Tiger's knee. Why not the same questions for Harrington?

As for Harrington lieing...I don't think he lied but he sure made this much bigger than it was. This was a record year for gambling on the Britsh Open and I think his comments mislead many bettors.

makes for a great story to say that his wrist hurts and then he goes out and wins, kind of like how tiger was limping all over the course a month ago during the playoff and then wins, cant blame harrington if he wanted a little love for being an injured guy and still winning

Goosen did question Tigers knee....and retracted as soon as the truth was known. Why isn't Tiger given any credit for that, if itwas John Elway or Michael Jordan you'd all say they were legends for playing on a bum knee and broken leg. As for Harrington lying, he went to a specialist, the specialist said he could play and he did. How do we know he wasn't inagony all the way round? As for his comments misleading bettors, if he was telling the truth he wasn't misleading anyone. If he'd have finished last you wouldn't have come on here and said: Hooray for Paddy for telling me not to bet on him.' I think it's a shame that people, and gamblers especially, can't just take people at their word and be happy that they witnessed a great sporting achievement instead of looking for a conspiracy theory because they are bitter that they couldn't find the winner at their sportsbook and are talking through their a s s and pocket.

lol And he decided not to practice for three days to ferment the conspiracy? I'm not sure what your point is, who do you think he was trying to defraud? He let the media know about it because it was factual information. Youre just pissed because you didnt have the capping skills to see that 149-1 was a great price for the reigning champion and still didn't back him on saturday night when it was obvious he could win and was 7-2. Get over it, theres nothing worse than a sore loser who needs to blame someone else for his losses.

OK, we agree that we agree to disagree. The reason I'm surprised is because this happened four-weeks-ago with Tiger and Goosen was made to look an ass because he said exactly what you're saying. All we know for certain is he missed three-days-practice, he was given anti-inflamatory tablets three times by a specialist and he has no reason to lie. They are facts. With respect, your argument is based purely on your opinion as someone who doesn't know him, doesn't know his doctor and has nothing other to go on other than the fact you didn't back him. Also, your link to the article doesn't say anything other than he tweaked his neck. So what? He tweaked his neck.
