Predictable. 1) he's 53. 2) Padraig owns the British Open. 3) The exact same thing happened last year with Sergio

I wouldnt say he 'owns' it, anyone of 20 players could still win this.

Padraig owns this thing as much as Ben Curtis does. He just made back to back bogeys. This is anyone's tournament. If one of the earlier tee times can get in the clubhouse at +7 or +8 I think they'll have a very good chance.

True. You could argue Harrington only won last year because Sergio allowed him too and he's had a few chances to save par today and not done it. Norman seems to have regrouped and, for as bad as it's gone for him early, he's still the leader.

Yeah Norman is still leading, but I really think both him and Harrington are going to drop a lot further and someone from Wakefield/Poulter/Wood/Kim/Stenson/Curtis is going to take this. Ive actually changed my mind, if someone can get in the clubhouse at +9 I think they'll be very happy and have a great chance.

Good!I normally like it when old timers have one big last fling and win something major but not with this guy.I like him even less than Collin Montgomery.

Embarrassing. They need an age limit in these things.

Poulter has to be the favourite right now right? Good chance to birdie 15 and go to 7 over, and he's playing wayy better than any of the other leaders.

Hopefully one of Harrington, Poulter or Norman win it, and I'm in profit. Otherwise, I am screwed.

Poulter moves to 7 over with the easy 17 still to play. He's pretty much got this. Even if he doesn't birdie 17, being in the clubhouse at +7 will be awfully hard to beat.

It'll be interesting to see what affect Poulter posting a score will have, the players behind him will know what they HAVE to do which can be an advantage and I certainly wouldn't be backing Poulter at the moment as it stands.

Whewww, huge putt for Poulter on 18. He needed that to put the pressure on Padraig.

He toughed that out well and now you start to wonder how important his miss from 4 feet on 13 or 14 could be. I'm smelling 4 hole play-off.

Not just that, his eagle putt should have been closer, and his birdie putt was practically in on the 17th. Hope Poults seals this win, even though he's a damn gooner

You'll have to explain the term 'gooner' for our American friends.

What a shot by Harrington, deserves to win it on that shot alone. Good to see the ABC team have only just mentioned Tiger because to say it's been won by default because Tiger isn't there wouldn't be true.

6-6-2 on the day for me, lost about 30 cents on the day in juice lol. Best 30 cents I've ever spent for a fun morning like that.

Won about £19 on that, would have been MUCH more if either Poulter or Norman won, but a profit's a profit

Norman had horrible course management, he always has. A very talented player but a dump player his whole career which made him underachieve..
