I just capped off an 0-7 night, which actually isn't my largest but just reminds you how rigged gambling is sometimes...

Detroit was typical of my day today. Score 6 runs in 1st inning, lose game.

Back a +115 tennis doggie, gets down to a 3rd set, he jumps out to 3 break points on opponents serve when it's tied 4-4, yet can't land a break and serve for match. Then gets broken on his next serve...

Bases left loaded in consecutive innings, etc. Rain delays after winning sets..

When it rains, guess it pours..

Tough to say because my plays are of such different units that some dont really count in comparison to others, but just flat out plays of any size, probably about 8.

The one that really hurt though was an 0-6 NFL Sunday back when i bet wayy too much on each play last season, my first season betting.

Yep. Just like David Ferrer was against Tommy Robredo, another recent match where my pick wins the 1st set in very good form, and then the rain delays turn the tide.

Querrey also blew triple break pts in the 3rd set tied 4-4 and could've served for match.

Trying to think of which loss is more irritable.

1.) Winning 1st set, momentum stopped by rain delay.
2.) Failing to convert triple BP's when you could then serve for match.
3.) Scoring 6 top of 1st and losing the lead within 3 innings.
4.) Leaving bases loaded in back to back innings and scoring 1 run.
5.) Dan Uggla 3 errors and failing to bat one runner in with mere sac fly twice in extra innings.

I'm sure I'm leaving something out this week..

I won 9 in a row but this is no joke, i lost 149 soccer parlays in a row over 3 days in 2007. Each parlay was a 5 teamer for $5 but lost each ****ing one.

CRAZYL i know the feeling.when the questions start it is the tuffest thing to get thru and it absolutely sucks,it sucks so bad to go thru that.but remember even a 3 week slump isnt really a drop in the bucket compared to your total investment made for the year.
ill tell you what i do when i go thru this.
a long time ago just about when my parents were going thru a divorce my mom took me to a ranch,place called faith ranch its a non-denomanational christian ranch,as i grew up spending an average of 1 weekend a month their,my mom was a voulenteer. their i was finally old enough to become a staff member counsler[summer camp for kids] i know i have stated i havent gone in a while but i have,off and on alot.
the place is awesome they have 5000 acres,horse back riding,archery,beatiful scenery,a swimming pond,cows,cats,dogs,any type of farm animal you could imagine.their is this one place i go their i like, its called prayer island ontop a very high hillside their at that spot looking out over the mountain at this countryside is were i really know what life is about.the sun hitting my face,river stream in backround,birds chirping.
to make a long story short they have a dedication plaqued statue in memorey to my mother it states''good freinds have become chosen family''

so i guess my advice in all sincerity would say TAKE a day off,i know what people say about that but **** you need sometime to think again

5 in a row for me. It's not like it was small bets either. This was about a month ago, coinciding with Milwauke's 5-0 blowout and Florida 13-4 **** up. Haven't had any luck in baseball of late, all my parlay's are hitting 3/4 as well.

Last year I started the NFL season off with a win and didn't win again until my game of the year in week 11 when Cleveland beat Baltimore on a last second field goal that was actually called no good for a couple of minutes until they got it right. Actually the field goal just sent it into overtime, but I lost 9 in a row. My kid pick up on my losing efforts at week 4 and made a killing fading my picks until I told him that I have never lost my game of the year pick (8-0). He didn't believe me an finally lost when I won on a crazy field goal, I thought that I had gotten fucked.

I remember that game vividly. That kick was the subject of some interesting discussion around here, even got into it with ShamsWoof about that as he was vehemently defending the kicker. The refs were wrong to overturn that one.
