3 movies up at Intertops this week.
1st is Moneyball. SIA originally had it at 16.5 and they adjusted all the way up to 20.5M before taking it off the board.
Tracking is way up, reviews and buzz are strong, and most predictions have it at 18M+. There is a lot of similarity between this and Contagion in terms of the numbers. 18-23M is a good bet w/ a small hedge on 13-18M.
2nd is Dolphin Tale. Tracking is also way up for this and it has strong reviews too. Most predictions fall around 12-13M. 11-16M is a very strong play w/ a small hedge on 16-21M (although I'd be shocked if it made 16M+).
The trickiest movie is Killer Elite. Reviews are bad and tracking is stagnant around 10M. All predictions fall between 9-11M making this one a coin flip. Due to the bad reviews and stiff competition I'm going with the under at 6-10M w/ a small hedge on 10-14M.
