Anyone Ever Have This Happen Before?
I've been doing small, recreational wagering with Betting Express mainly because they accept Paypal. I made a withdrawal of $300 in June and received my normal emails that they were processing the withdrawal. I received my Fedex confirmation number as usual, but the package never arrived. I called Fedex and they said that Betting Express requested the package be destroyed and that's why it never came.

I called Betting Express and they stated that they had the shipments in that time period destroyed because several checks they sent out to other customers were bouncing because the banks they use found out they were a gambling site and cancelled their accounts. The lady on the phone stated that they can put the money back in my account within 24-48 and I can get it back once they find a new bank that will work with them, hopefully within 3 weeks. Does this sound fishy or has anyone experienced something like this before?

Definetly sounds fishy in as much as they're happy for you to eventually lose it by continually gambling it but they can't give you a payout. Perfect example of a 'one-way book.'

I think it is probably gone. I asked her if they can just credit it back to my card because they have done that before, but she said there was no way they could even do that. I told her that sounded fishy and made me think they are broke, but she just went on about how they wouldn't do that to their thousands of customers. It was the only low grade book I've ever worked with so I'm going to probably just chalk it up to a learning experience.

You may as well play out what you've got and try to get it to last for three weeks so you can ask for it again.

If you are in the US and they accept paypal, something is fishy.

As to a processor finding out that they are gambling company and closing their accounts -- that is happening all the time. Most books don't do a damn thing and let their customers deposit and later find out the check bounced. So in that regards, they seem to be doing a bit better.

I was reading the other thread about MySportsbook.com and came to found that Betting Express is owned by Jazette Enterprises. I guess that confirms the problem they are having.

I could see the recalled delivery reason, however it's rather far fetched IMHOO sir.

BettingExpress (SBR Rated C-) appears to use the World Gaming software, which is mainly used by Jazette family of books. However they are privately owned with offices and representatives in Costa Rica, Ireland and Canada, so we can rule that out theory.

If you feel you are in need of some assistance. Please fill free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf.
