That sprinter who doesnt have legs wont be in the olympics. I hear all these people how are upset about it, but I dont understand why. This guy has an unfair advantage over all other runners. He doesnt have to train the muscles in his leg cuz they aint there, while olympic sprinters spend all day training.

Maybe next we should let Robocop in the olympics.

He should sue to get in the Olympics anyway. Although in court, he won't have a leg to stand on.

People are rightfully upset. They are smart enough to realize that legs are boring. *YAWN*

I was trying not to laugh, but I'm going to hell anyway

I agree that he shouldn't be in the Olympics. Technology in this field is thankfully advancing. But I've read different stuff about his legs, aka giant springs, and it's possible that technology isn't all that far from advancing beyond what the average human body is capable of doing.

We're talking about a sport that won't allow you to take over-the-counter medication because it could give you an edge; why should they allow you to have a bionic body and compete? And if they do, with technology moving forward, how far away are we from someone making the decision to have their left arm and shoulder removed to be replaced with some super appendage capable of slinging a baseball at 150 mph?

I think goalies in the NHL should get chairs!

Why not let the goalies in the NHL have fold out chairs that can retract and fold into the net when the action comes back into their end of the rink. There are some older goalies like the dominator and kujo who could extend their careers by a couple years if they could sit half the game.

Who cares if some guy crashes the net and gets decapitated by the chair!

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George got a chair for the security guard who then fell asleep causing the store to get robbed.

Lets face it,political correctness and feel goodism has been edging it's way into sports for years now.Damn bleeding heart liberals.hehe!

Why not have chairs for outfielders too.Barry Bonds could use a chair. So what if the fielder next to you gets tangled up in the chair and is put on the DL for the rest of the year or has his career end.

When Casey what's his name???Martin????the golfer wanted to use a cart on tour because of being born with damaged legs that's when this all escalated.

How about a guy born without hands that wants to be a bull rider? He should be able to have some sort of a seat belt to strap him in where he could never fall off the bull. The problem is that he would end up like Whiplash the collie riding Taco John's monkey where the bull would run under a bleechers and decapitate the guy.

I always wondered why an NHL team didn't just crane in one of those bedridden, 900 lbs. behemoths and plop them right in front of the net. They wouldn't even have to move. They could snack on a 12 pack of whoppers as the puck bounces off of them and there'd be no way the opposing team could score. Maybe they'd crack the rink or something but I think it'd be worth a try...

The size of the pads is regulated. That would be a lot of juicy exposed flesh. The guy would never make it through the game.

900 lbs on 1/8" thick skates will slice though 2" of ice like a hot knife through butter.
