#42Ya'll remember that 4x4 riding place that was on the Trinity, right off of 360, by the railroad tracks? Cops shut it down many many times. It was down the road from six flags, like your headed to the airport. I guess technically the area would be Grand Prairie. Do people still ride their 4wheelers and trucks/jeeps out there? I used to go all the time with friends, good times.Comment -

Trails are all still there, can't use them anymore though. I pass it everyday going to work, those were good times back in the day. You wouldn't recognize anything over there now. American Airlines and FAA offices from the railroad tracks north to the airport now.

So are the trails all closed off now? There were so many different ways to get to them, and we'd have so much fun night riding or just riding out to the river and setting up the grills and drinking beer. Making myself home sick now, lol.Comment -

#55Aww man that sucks. This must've been back in 2002 or so that I lived in Dallas, actually lived pretty close to it, in some apartments close to where the post office was at. I think there was a big hotel right there as well. It was starting to get more commercial in that area, instead of the green area with tons of areas to ride around in. They had just built the little train station place where you could get on/off the train.

#56Wow, I just went on google maps street view to where I used to live and man, I don't recognize much at all. It's all concrete now. There's a jack n the box and starbucks and some shopping plaza and yah, the train that runs through. I saw the trails on the highway, they don't look grown over or anything, so I guess people still get there. I guess they get there the old way that we used to have to go, after the cops started shutting down the normal areas over by the railroad tracks.Comment -

Was definitely a cool place to ride.
Also, it's damn near solid concrete from Dallas to Denton now. The commuter runs all the way up there now.Comment -
