New York Liberty to Play Basketball at Athur Ashe Stadium


NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- In what is billed as the first outdoor, regular season game in professional basketball history, the New York Liberty will host the Indiana Fever at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Saturday, July 19.

The WNBA teams will face off in a venue usually reserved for the best in tennis. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is home to the U.S. Open.

The game at the starts at 7:30pm.
