what is the deal with travel voucher? are you going to make an announcement soon about it? are we going to get a voucher in the mail or there is a process of getting the $300 back?

At the Bash we will reimburse the posters who qualify either with a check or cash.

Good questions picoman! When you arrive at the Golden Nugget all you'll need to do is check in, the hotel will have a list of our posters and will have rooms prepared for them. The first event of the Bash will be a reception at the Golden Nugget from 8pm-10pm on the 22nd. At the check-in table for that event you will be reimbursed up to $300 for your travel expenses (if qualified) either in cash or by company check. All we'll need is a plane, train, or bus ticket or credit card statement verifying cost. We'll also be passing out giftbags loaded with excellent SBR gear, and hopefully you'll have an opportunity to meet The Prick and the SBR Girls. (not to mention open bar)

one more question. is there ethernet avaliable for free in the golden nugget or is it avaliable for a fee? thinking about doing some hedges with the vegas line if opportunity rises.

I know the strip casinos charge for wireless Internet service (usually about $15/day). The Nugget is the classiest hotel on Fremont so I would guess that they would probably charge for service. Although, you can walk over to the coffee shop at Main Street Station and get it for free.

Even though SBR is providing the rooms, a major credit card will be required at checkin. This is required by the hotel in case there is damage to the room, phone charges, ppv movies, room service..ect.

Weird. Why wouldn't you? Your sites should be using SSL. If someone were even there sniffing the packets off of the coffee shop wireless network, they'd have to decrypt the information which would take either years or massive computing power. By the way, the likelihood of someone actually sitting at the coffee shop in the corner of Main Street Station (where about 3 people use their Internet connection per week) and sniffing packets hoping to intercept sensitive data is about 0.0000000000000000000000001%. I think you're pretty safe.
