Every time the dow drops we see one of these threads, Emily and fishhead talk their shit, but when it rebounds no one says a word. Lame.

When people made a killing on buying and selling BAC no one said a word. When they make another killing buying BAC after todays drop and then selling at $7 in a couple of weeks, we won't hear a word from Emily and Fishfuk.

Wait for these panic days, get in, wait for a bounce, get out. But there's no drama in doing that. Attention seekers don't want to look at it logically, they wait for a drop and then say I told you so. Fuking hate people like that.

You want us to give props for those buying at $6 and selling at $7?

Hardly.............the majority of my money is in farmland and cash.

Ag commodites down sharply the past few days. DAG (corn, wheat, soybeans, sugar double leveraged ETF) around $12 a share has been has been a great trade this year. It has been down there 4 times already and usually tops out around $16.

dow keeps bouncing off of 10,600

i am as bearish as anyone, but if there's a -200 open we could have one of those big swingers tomorrow where the dow goes from down 200 or 300 to up 200 or 300.

i will be buying cheap high-beta stuff after the opening 10-20 minute takedown (if there is one).

Dow technicals are irrelevant as it is a useless index. 1101 on the S&P is the line in the sand.

jarvol i agree with you to some extent. but the dow is still much more widely followed, and the s&p had no problem going a couple points below 1101 at the close.

i was never one to follow technicals, but there's always more than one way to skin a cat. i only buy stocks when i see something get ridiculously cheap, which i would have to admit there are quite a few stocks i follow in this category right now.
