Anything you may do differently, any filters in your spreadsheets etc or do you treat baseball wagering exactly the same? I ask because I know of a few people who actually stop betting bases at this time of year...
Any adjustments for post allstar break wagering?

#3Great question. Looking forward to seeing all the answers. More overs is definitely a possibility. Streaks mean a little more to me in the 2nd half as well.Comment -

#5Not sure about trends post all star break but tomorrow AJ Burnett will be making be making consecutive starts for the Jays. I cannot remember that ever happening before. On Sunday he almost pitched a complete game on 3 days rest.
Tampa at -140 seems reasonable even with their losing streak.Comment -

#8I toss a nickel instead of a quarter to chose between heads and tails after all star break. I hit more plays with this plan.Comment -

#10Let's not forget the Yankees are historically a second half team.
And despite all the criticism this year I'm not counting them out.Comment -

#12I have usually found that the things that get you to the break, don't get you to the end of the season in baseball. Look for the teams that start to streak and those that fade starting AFTER this weekend. Let things settle in. I like to look at a three game win streak with quality teams and start to play them if they are good value. I know value is a relative term to everyone here. But you can't pay too much for a streaking team. Example: Yanks will be streaking and too much money. But you will find some nuggets out there. They just haven't popped up yet.
Also the overs after the break are usually good, but I think with the steriod reduced batters this year, this probably won't pan out. If the linesmen use past patterns to shade for the overs, then the unders may become an even better play than before the break. We shall see.
Keep in mind, you only have to get to College Football and you can stop worrying about Bases.
My two cents.Comment -
