    So when I want to make a $1 exactor, or pick 3, do not force me to make a $1.01 CAD. This is ****ing stupid and frustrating. ESPECIALLY when it is at a Canadian track. And if the min. is 1.01 CAD, can you please have the software that allows decimal points? Is this too much to ask? I think not.

              I just had this conversation with one of my drivers. He is going to Nova Scotia all next week. We were remembering the days of old with the exchange rate. It's one for one now. Our currency is pathetic right now.

                Another thing about Canada and USA currency exchange.I loved going up to Winnipeg every spring where 64 cents us would get you a Canadian dollar.Some stuff up there at the time was inflated but there were bargains to be had too.The banks up there would use an up to the second accurate exchange rate where they didn't budge a decimal off and cheat you.You come back to Minnesota not far from the border and the banks looked at you like you were handing them Martian money to exchange when you gave them Canadian.They would screw you bigtime with nickel or even dime breakage giving you the excuse that exchange rates may fluctuate.Fluctuate maybe 1-20th of a cent in a week at the time maybe!!!!!!not 7 cents!

                Then I would always buy about $50 or even $100 in Canadian change and use some at the local Indian casino playing keno. 10 years ago you could find casino machines that took Canadian change.Now you can hardly find machines that will take USA change.Everytime I bought something like gas I would add a Canadian quarter or two to pay for it.

                You rarely see Canadian change here anymore because of the rate exchange and it used to be a very common thing to find.

                      I'm constantly getting US coins as change at Tim Hortons. Dunno if it's Americans over here unloading it or leftovers from Canadians visiting the states. In the past couple months I've also been handed a British coin and an Arabian coin from TH. Seems everyone loves their Timmies.

                            The big question is for Canadians,now that you haven't had paper $1 bills for a long time since $1 metal loonie coins took over,what do you do when you go to see shakers?Do you put a looney in the slut like a slot machine?hehe!

                            Man are there some good shaker joints in Canada and they have no frontal nudity ordinances in most places there either.One night in Winnipeg they had a miss western Canada stripping contest sponsored by a major girlie magazine and there must have been 50 gals that had 10 minutes each to strut their stuff.They were coming from BC,The Yukon,you name it!There wasn't even a cover at the time and if you got there early you got a front runway seat.Bottles of Labatt at that time even with the greatest show on earth were about $2 Canadadian.Anyone from Winnipeg here that knows if the Archibald Avenue across from the defunct Armor meat plant is still in business?They used to have a cheap buffet bthere too.You won't find a buffet and strip joint combo in the states.hehe!

                              "shaker joints"

                              I like that. Used to hearing "peeler". Strippers would prolly prefer yours as well. To them, they are dancers, not strippers.

                              dance=shake
                              strip=peel

                              Yeah, we're pretty liberal up here compared to the US.

                                In all my years on this planet, I never heard of shaker or peeler used to describe a strip joint. They really call them that in Canada? I have been to few up there and never heard that term.

                                  I've heard peeler....shaker is a first for me. Brentcrude said it, he ain't Canadian. Did he bring that term home from Canada or is it homegrown? My money is on the latter...
