Anyone date a cheerleader in H.S.-college that now thinks cheerleaders are idiots?

Talk about a Revenge of the nerds topic.Was it all the rage in your school to either be a cheerleader in high school ''women''or to be going out with one?Looking back you realize how idiotic the whole cheerleading thing is where it's nothing but a popularity booty shaking contest.Looking back and even looking at today's cheerleaders,these are some real messed up in the head gals usually.

Anyone have experiences in this whole cheerleading load of crap from when you were in school?I think Dubya was a cheerleader.See what I mean when I say people are messed up when they are cheerleaders.I wouldn't doubt it if the vast majority of politicians and entertainers weren't cheerleaders.I think Phil Donohue was a cheerleader at Notre Dame?

Something tells me that Swede was not a cheerleader?She reminds me of the good looking wild gals that used to not talk to the cheerleaders and smoke in the girls room.Am I right on that one Swede?

When I was in high school the Swede kind of gals were picked up at lunchtime in front of the shool by 34 year old guys on Harleys who took them downtown for a couple brews.

Both. I was a cheerleader and so were my three close friends. However, we rarely talked to the other cheerleaders outside of practice. We were the ones who had our cigs lit before we were even out of the school parking lot. I never smoked in the girl's room. We were far too cool. We'd go out back....OR go out to our cars and recline the seats so no one could see us from inside. I know, we were SO bad ass.

Close. He was an 18 year old drop out with a "hooked up" Honda. Ohhhhh, to be 17 again.

Now I have to take a moment to say that cheerleading is far more than booty shaking. IMO, NFL cheerleaders are glorified dance squads. However, high school and college cheerleaders are pretty serious atheletes. Sure, you may not have seen it at the games, but the competitions were pretty damn amazing. It takes serious concentration, strength, endurance and bravery to get through those routines.
