phillies team total UNDER is the play for the rest of the reg season
against the astros they scored 1, 2, 1
against the marlins in the DH they scored 3 and 2
against the cards they scored 2, 9 (6 were in the bottom 8th), and 0

2nite they only have 1 and left multiple men on base in almost every inning

Hmmm, they must not want to try and hit.

Nah, Pence and Mayberry really fukked up that system (which made a shitload of $$ last year).

I can't see Mayberry not swinging for long since he's just a rook. And Ibanez picks it up this time of year. Pence may want to impress his new bosses. Philly bats will heat up soon.

Of course, now that I said that, watch their bats go ice-cold.

thats the point tho, theyve been ice cold. theres only 9 games left for them and i dont see anything changing (tho i hope they blow up on the braves to help out the cardinals)

add another 3-run effort in a loss to the nationals today...

When I was listening to the game on the radio today I heard them say mostly they will field a different lineup, not regulars, when they play a non playoff contending team. I'm sure though the line is adjusted to that. Just a fluke they are cold. I really can't see ballplayers all of a sudden stop trying to pad their stats because they just don't care.
