Fantasy requires a lot of luck? No it doesn't. Preparation, knowledge of the game and making sure you get into a league with a bunch of hamburgers. Like he said, who is easier to beat: the books or a bunch of average Joe's who load their fantasy teams up with their favorite players?

When RR -- arguably the top poster on this site for finding winners -- talks about abandoning sports gambling and the difficulties of making profits long-term at it ... talk about a blow to SBR. Unfortunately, there are so many degens out there who want to give their money away to the books that no one will listen. Falls on deaf ears. But he is 150% correct: it's much easier to turn a profit at fantasy sports vs. gambling. Instead of the public's money going to the books, it goes to the sharpest guy in the room. I don't doubt that's RR in one of his typical fantasy leagues.

last year was just a joke about not posting, i never missed a week posting my picks though. this year i am back to even from my baseball losses earlier and want to focus solely on fantasy sports.
