I really hope some people come forward and share a little bit of information in regard to this subject. I know it's relatively hush hush, but just to get beginning scalpee's in the right direction, what are some good tips you can spare?

What the hell is a scalp?
Is that arbitrage betting? If it is, I've been doing that on top of betting for a while now, and am up £850 in the past 6 weeks from it.
Tips, be quick when you find an arb. I find in-play betting best for finding arbs, but there's loads of big arb's to be had before games. I managed to get a £38 arb from the James Blake game yesterday.

The most satisfying scalping situation is getting the best line on a side when the odds are first released, leaving you with a good scalp. Throw in a possible middle situation if it's a spread or total and it's pure bliss.
Try to anticipate the line movement is the best tip I could give. Use low juice books.
Scalping is only worthwhile if the bets are big or you're in the *cough cough* bonus hunting business. Exception would be trying to middle.

Most scalps are in the more obscure sports and prop bets. NBA and NFL props can be lucrative, but limits are small.

Its just grinding. Sit at your computer, watch the lines, bet the lines, count the monies. Its not rocket science.
