This is funny , looking at different golfers to make the cut. Yes (-) , yes (-) mostly yes favourite , then I get to John Daly...LOL
What do you think the line should be ?

Not sure how is health is but I would guess he would be minus money to at least make the cut. I dont know a wild guess would be -350?

that sounds more reasonable.
fwiw, betfair has +182 to make the cut -- slightly better than david duval at +205
both these guys, of course, are only in the field because they are past open winners

The Golf Channel have just said the wind will probably be howling, it's going to be cold and the winning score could well be over-par. Just going on his 'form' this year he'll struggle to make the cut but when you factor in his recent play AND the conditions, I'd say he's a lock to miss it.

Interesting. When was the last time John Daly 'overpowered' a golf course?

What's amazing about the guy EM is he played in just 24 events last year, made the cut in just nine of them and still brought home almost a quarter million dollars. About a third of that dough came in the Merrill Lynch Shootout last December.
I like the guy for some strange reason, but it'd be a minor miracle -- Threw that in there for the God posters -- for him to be playing come this Saturday.

Just think what his expenses are getting to tournaments.I wonder what kind of deductions he can get out of that 250k.To Daly, booze is an essential necessity like medicine is so I wonder if he can get tax deductions for it?hehe!
Do you know what you have to take into consideration on a Daly prop of making the cut?If there is a Hooters in the town the tourney is held.Daly got a lifetime exemption of having to pay a booze and eating bill from them.If the town has a Hooters,he will never make the cut.

Duval 69 , not only made the cut, but is tied for 4th
Daly, on the other hand, shot 89 for a two day total of +29 and a dead last finish

If they had those odds on him missing the cut at the shops over there , would not be suprised if he bet against himself.

They do, however the limits are drastically smaller than the paycheck for making the cut and then finishing last.

His odds of making the cut was 0% so anything he could have bet was more than he could have ever won.

Daly has had countless number of second chances.
He's 42 now...in 8 years he might dominate the Senior Tour.
If he makes it alive.

Guy has had numerous people bail him out of huge gambling debts and then he ends up screwing them in the end. He will never do anything on the Senior tour , guy has way too many problems and people will quit helping him soon.

So, the betting market mis-priced his chances by that much?
I hope you had your whole bankroll on it.

Bet those odds everytime he plays and I bet you will win in the long run.
