- Giants are going to try and stick to the ground more, not sure their new line is ready for it. Last week Gilbride the coordinator was letting Eli throw it all over the place on 1st and 2nd down, I don't think he has much faith the line can pound.Giants are always a tough bet with Eli. He will throw 20 straight good passed then throw two horrid ones for piks on back-to-back possessions. If Nicks was 100 % would be no play, but I don't think Giants can make enough plays to cover.
Giant safties played horrible last week.their linebackers are avg with out the good (healthy) dline) to make them look good. Tuck banged up and no Osi.
All this along with a decent Rams defense means a Rams play for me. I can't say who from Rams skill spots will make plays, one of them should though. Sims-Walker should be in a lot, experienced guy who can get in the end zone.

Rams is the play, albeit a small one.

I guess I am in the minority, I think Giants win handily. Neither quarterback will have much success, although Manning has a better chance to because at least he has competent receivers to throw to. But the real key will be the Giants running backs should run wild vs. weak Rams run defense.

Don't see Rams in the game, they are not a good team on top of that not 100% health wise.
Giants at home, Monday night should be the right pick.

Key issues:

1) Bradford.... will his finger REALLY be OK? He might play but be a bit off. He might wear a glove. WTF???
2) Second thing is # 1 CB Bartell is out for the yr, and # 2 Fletcher is dinged... bad ankle... not sure if he can go. Rams have 88 yr old CB Al Harris, who blew out a knee recently, ready to play, and not much else. CB is a HUGE problem. If Giants WR Nicks plays, and Fletcher cannot go or play at 100%, Rams are up shits creek.

Also, key T Jason Smith will try to play but who knows if he will be OK. RB Jackson still is possible, but if he plays he will not be 100%. But not such a big dropoff with Cadillac Williams and Norwood. Amendola is out, but not an issue, he is the same as all of the mediocre Rams WR's. No dropoff.

We are aware Tuck and Nicks might not play for Giants... that will help. But beware of 1) and 2) before you play Rams + 7.
