Eagles/Falcons Halftime Line, Thoughts?

This guy is right. Phili was the better team, but they had some BIG mistakes which has led to the Falcons leading at half. If ATL wants to win, they have to keep the ball on the ground. Matt Ryan doesn't look like himself back there, and I think a lot of it has to do with the Eagles spectacular secondary.

#1: capitalized on a long punt return

#2: capitalized on a philly redzone fumble ran back to the opposite redzone


eagles:

#1: couldnt pound it in from 2nd and 1 from the 3 and had to settle for a fg

#2: turned it over at the 5 and ended up being a 14 point spread

Ryan has not been able to lead a drive yet that wasnt started inside philly territory..36 yards before that last philly fumble for ryan??

this game could easy be 21-7... but its not and we have a chance to get philly at -110 for the ML...

maybe im a homer, or maybe i have just been watrching how the first half played out and am looking to cash in on it

The second fumble was at the end of half when he was just running around trying to make a play, its not something he would do playing in the game.

I'm not arguing with you. I thought you were spot on. The Eagles were the better looking team, they just had a couple really bad mistakes that led to the Falcons leading at half. Falcons are only leading because of turnovers by the Eagles, and solid field position. I'm not keeping notes, but I don't think Matt Ryan has driven them down the field more than 70 yards for a score. Everything is coming from good field position.

From just watching this game, Philly looks like the better team. They have pretty much gift wrapped Atlanta 7 and they should have at least three more themselves.
