On this site you have to be losing to be considered a sharp. I have noticed that, but I got burned on the cowgirls last week on the ML as a huge dog to the jets. This week I contrarily took the dog to win by -3.5+190. One thing I have noticed about the NFL is the games on national TV are close more often then they are blow outs. Despite the eagles being the far better team and more obvious pick I just did it because I felt like the dog was due for a win. Sometimes the teams playing don't matter as much as the mathematics behind your wagers. The favorite won't win every single week even though there is a slight possibility they could. That is the only reason I took the falcons tonight in this game. If the falcons lost this game I would have doubled my bet on the dog for next sundays game. Live betting is also a cool tool to use to maximize gains or minimize losses. Gambling is far from an exact science, but the best thing to do is to leave emotion out of it. Once I get emotional I get my ass handed to me really quickly.
