Leroy's Contest: bad line, worse playing.

In the Leroy's college football challenge this week, the line on Wyoming/Bowling Green was posted backwards, listing Wyoming as an 8' point fave, instead of BG.

Okay, that's sad, but once listed they have to let it stay, and it is a level playing field, in that all contestants are allowed to play the game. What it really does, in theory, is just make it a 6-pick contest instead of a 7-pick contest, for this one week.

Except that this being Vegas, the dead money capital of the world, 4 people took Wyoming -8', and only 102 took BG +8'. Out of 265 entrants, that's amazing.

I have more respect for the 4, btw, don't know why.

And now I lose a game by forfeit: the OK St/Tulsa game is going to be cancelled, and in Leroy's rules, a cancelled game is a loss for the bettor on either side. Why they can't just call it a push? FML. 64 people lose a pick in this contest, without the game being played? It's no big deal, it's a little contest, just for fun, but still, they could pull their heads out of their butts and run it right.

When they have special lines here people complain that are getting a bad number on the other side... Always wonder how much action SBR still got on that side of the game...

But I can see alot of people missing the off-number if they aren't watching all the lines and weren't familiar with the teams in the specific game... If it had been a more marque game sure alot of people would have caught it and used it...

That is a shitty rule on the cancelled game. Hopefully they still play, the other thread here in players talk said they thought it would still play. But yeah it's getting ridiculously late, better start it soon.
