Line is a little overinflated due to the pats great monday night offensive output and the perception that the chargers are a great offense . The reality is that the chargers d will be able to control the pats much better and belichick will come up with a better defensive gameplan than he had on mfl in Miami. This game should fly under the total pretty comfortably imo. I dont see any real reason to take the over besides past reputation and predominant square thought. These teams have met a few times over the years and the total has never been in the 50's.

Take the under. Its a good number as well at 53.5.

this is not a bad play, despite the patriots incredible OVER record on totals last 2 seasons



I think this game will be in the low to mid 20s cause the chargers defense is awesome. With that being said, I don't have the balls to ever bet an under against tom brady and what has been a terrible patriots defense last 2 seasons

yea but tom brady was great last year as well and the pats only produced 23 points against San Diego

different situation. late game in foxboro. lots of tv hype and breaks. expect a coaches type thinking game with more timeouts( for tv) than normal. i know some clown will tell me the timeouts are the same for every game but its different when its a thought out type game. 53.5 points is alot of points. imagine if the first 10 minutes have no score or only 3 points.?

This has nothing to do with it, its more about how these teams matchup. They generally play tough and ugly games with the total score somewhere in the 40s


54 is a ton for this matchup, I mean u can have a 30-23 final score where its still a winning bet
