Inspired by bobbyfk's thread, I'm trying to remember these "bars" I loved as a kid back in the early 80s...

No, I don't mean Carnation Breakfast Bars, although those were awesome!!

They were some kind of soft bar, and there were a bunch of different flavors, at least like four, each one with a different colored wrapper... I remember one was sort of cinnamon-y and had a white coating.

No, not Kudos, but good guess... and aren't those still around? I think these predated Kudos by a little... they could even have been around late 70s, but I still think early 80s. Kudos came out I want to say in the mid-80s.

Nope. They weren't fruit bars, they were closer to granola bars, but not quite granola bars either.

Really hard to give more info than I already did!

Kind of like a cross between a granola bar and almost a sugary snack-cake sort of thing. Shaped like a granola bar but almost cakey in consistency. From what I remember.

Well it wasn't just the link -- I already knew about that Web site from my own search. I gave spartan the points because it was due to the fact that he linked to letter G that I ended up seeing the right answer. So he indirectly earned the 25 points, he sort of lucked out!
