if your going to bet on Seattle, will you please just take that money and donate it to charity, because that way at least your giving your money away to a good cause.

Seahawks best WR is OUT again, not that it would make a difference.
Steelers win this one easy. Don't waste your money.

Pit is so overrated. They got old, fast. I'd bet Seattle to cover, but not moneyline. Good luck, holmes...

You are better off putting your money on the Packers winning the Super Bowl at 6 to 1 odds than on this game.
Seahawks have no weapons to defeat the Steelers with. Sydney Rice isn't even playing.

Pittsburgh gets blown out 35 to 3 in their home opener and now all of these ridiculous comments about your money line wager on Seattle.
BabyJesus, you have to feel at least a little more confident about your chances after reading these responses.
Pittsburgh showed absolutely nothing last Sunday and kept turning the ball over and there is nothing wrong with your moneyline wager other than being able to get a slightly better price (around +700 or +750).

Just FYI, it wasn't their hope opener. They were dogs at Baltimore, a quality division rival. It was 35-7.
The story of that game was turnovers. Steelers had 7, Ravens had 0. You just can't compete with those numbers.
As for Seattle @ Pitts, it's a no play for me. Pitts is clearly a better team, but if they want to turn the ball over 7 times again... I just don't see value in that line either way. Both teams are too tough for me to figure right now.

Do you see any higher spreads this week?
It's the NFL, anything can happen.

A little difference in class of defense between the Ravens and Seahawks.
Plus, I'm sure the Steelers will clean up those turnover issues. Also, the Steelers were in Baltimore last week. Last time I checked, they are the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not sure how that was their home opener.
So before you go slamming the rest of us in this thread with that shitty ass comment (in bold), you better proof read your post before submitting.

only -14, how many times do you see line in excess of the 2 TD a season?

I wouldn't bet it but I might take the spread at +14.5. A late garbage td might cover it. Steelers will bounce back but don't be fooled- this pitt team isn't playoff material. Its the flip flop year for them.

The question is will Seattle even bother making the trip to Pittsburgh or will they just not show up to save traveling money.

I watched the entire SF / Seahawk game last week and it was hard to sit through. Seattle is awful and I say that being a Seahawk fan since the 80s ... They are really, really bad. Tavaris is going to be running for his life.

Biggest ML I hit this year was+330 S. Florida over Norte Dame for 2x.. That game was like 6 hours long cause of delays and ND came back and put up 13 in the 4th, 23-20. I was in Vegas for Labor Day and had a field day cause LSU/Boise/S. Florida were in every parlay I had.
If your looking for an upset, try looking at some NCAA ML, way better chance to hit one betting on a head coach, not multi million dollar paid athletes that could lose there jobs if they lose.

If these two teams play 100 times, the Steelers win 95. If you want to buck those odds, +600 isn't nearly enough.

Money down the drain. I really like Pittsburgh to cover the spread as well. Best of luck though.
