i have seen Iowa State play. good defense, nice mobile playmaker at quarterback. they seem to just move the ball good enough to move the chains.

i have not seen UCONN play though.

i watched the 1st half of the UCONN game. im not watching the 2nd half. very boring, uconn/vandy

what did i notice about uconn?

they played 3 qb's. all inexperienced. the one guy only did wildcat stuff. i dont think they know what reading a defense is. it was, throw to 1st read or dumpoff. many times that 1st read was covered and he still threw. coulda been a couple picks if the defense caught the ball.

they will run the ball unless they need to throw. a good gameplan could stack the box and force this qb to throw. spy the dumpoff and read the qb's eyes, jump initial read we could have a pick 6.

uconn kicker is real good. the punter did not look good. the only way he got some distance was a line drive and that sets up a big return.

if you didnt know, uconn has a new coaching staff this year as well. p pasqualoni (syracuse).

vanderbilt ran a spread offense, which is kinda similar to iowa state. ISU qb is much better than what Vandy had and Vandy still exposed them at times.

Obviously, we cant predict a dog to blow out their opponent but based on watching ISU play Iowa and UCONN play Vandy(only 1st half i watched), Im predicting that Iowa State wins the game this evening.

this is only an eye test, which is what the king asked for.

I like where this is going, its really a great point. I dont like to bet games that I dont watch a bit before hand (teams playing). I watch alot of baseball and this approach has helped me greatly.
There is so much to be said for how a team looks in a previous game and what happened...with that said I dont really watch enough college ball to bet on it... atleast untill baseball is over.
