So is this Arena Football going to Continue in the NFL?
Or is week 1 just an abbreviation? Where's JJ and his NFL plays D compared to college football....

"quarterbacks threw for more yards in Week 1 (7,842) than in any other week in NFL history. It's that on top of those firsts, there were more quarterbacks who passed for 300 yards or more (14) than in any week in history, and there were more games (five) with two 300-yard passers than ever."

Obviously NFL is turning into a sissy league year after year with more rules protecting QB's, protecting that, can't do this, can't do that.

So is this a trend to stay? Everyone is already booking all overs in week 2 I see...week 1 over reaction maybe...

Tough to say to right now.

All the rules over the passed years have favored the passing game, exactly what the NFL wanted. But the NFL has to take these measures to protect the players, a 'sissy' league. I think not sir. They are just now learning about concussions long terms effects, and it causing ALS.
The last thing the NFL wants is its stars players dying one by one of one of the most painful diseases out there in ALS.

NHL went through same change because the board catered to American market, who love offense, high scoring. You don't see many 1-0, 2-1 games anymore because clutching and grabbing was taken out of the game. The primary reason why majority of Americans don't follow soccer, too low scoring for their liking.

I miss 1-0 type hockey games and love watching soccer but the majority speaks in this country and now football is turning into a circus where the defense basically has no shot before it starts.

The only thing NFL cares about is $$$$$$$.

They are trying to protect the "product" not the players.

Books have caught onto this already, look at the totals for this week...

          8 posted totals of 44+ including a 47, 48, 49.5 and 53.5

That is a lot of scoring for an NFL game. Might be time to find the under play with these inflated lines.
