I would only be offended if I was patted down at any facility that was even in the slightest publicly owned. I don't think your rights are being violated otherwise when you have the right to not pay money to go on private property.

you know they are blacking out home games on T.V. now too??? This sucks... I can't even watch the bucs game unless I want to sit in 98 degree temperatures after having my rooster patted down. I don't like the pat down bull shit mostly because it makes it harder for me to sneak a flask into the game so I can get drunk without having to carry a beer 12 miles across 50,000 people moving in different directions. I like going to the games, but it isn't something I enjoy all the time.

Same as going into a club or even a wal mart or mall store. Fourth Amend pertains to govt intrusion, not private agencies. A cop cannot just search as they please in a shoplifting case, a security guard can....etc.

This is in the news more because the dumbass at the Jets/Cowboys game had that taser last week and deployed it in the crowd. The NFL is just doing its part to look secure in the face of that and incidents like the preseason brawls in the crowds that could have had weapons involved in the future if it happens again.

the problem is not a pat-down with tsa even...its how gropey and touchey feeley the invasive patdowns are and how they even feel up on children etc. regular patdowns and security checks are smart.
