Theres some deals to be had out there now. Lake Las Vegas was all about high dollar luxury living 5 years ago. $500 a sq foot homes, $200 greens fees, high end shops. Then 2 of the 3 golf courses closed, the hotel closed, casino closed. Now, you can get a house for a steal and have the lake to yourself. Its even starting to come back a little now. Someone reopened the hotel under another name and the casino reopened slots-only a few months ago. The 45 min or longer drive from the strip makes it highly undesirable to me though.
