There's other 36 year old NFL players playing, GIVE THE GUY A CHANCE. IF SOMEONE EVER SIGNS HIM AND HE SUCKS, YOU GUYS CAN TELL ME THAT THIS WAS A S*IT THREAD. Until then, I'm not convinced.
    grats on being old bro.

what other 36 year old running backs are there?? shits a joke if you think this guy is going to be real productive.

I didn't say real productive. I said that he can fit a role on an NFL team. I think that he can run for at least 500 yards in a year in an efficient manner

redskins have too many running backs as it is.

our backup torain would sh*t on 70 percent of starters out there.

almost 16,000 all purpose yards and a 4.7 yards per carry and the SBR community is disrespecting this warrior. If Barber ever gets a chance, I'll be all over you guys and bump this thread

guess Tiki shouldn't have burned so many bridges on his way out to his tv career. he made his bed, now he can lie in it - by himself.

Walter Payton has ton of all purpose yards too. Lets give him a shot.

C'mon Dr. Stale ..."Sweetness" was one of my favorite running backs. Let's not make fun of the dead . What's the difference between 31 and 36 years old ( aside from the time off (which we already talked about) ). I felt the same at 36 as I did at 31 years old. Barber had been working out vigorously. Isn't this the land of opportunity? Not one tryout?....c'mon, he's being blackballed

I think he is blackballed as a team killer
Personality is not that great and of course being old is the major reason
Too many young guys that can fly

Ok JJ--being a "team killer" is a decent point. I'm not sure that he is but I can see how he's perceived as a team killer. Good point
