Seriously, what does everyone think of this game? LSU should be able to force MSU to pass, right? If so, MSU will be out of character and will be in big trouble. The line is low b/c of home field advantage and what I perceive as a coaching advantage (just my opinion). However, LSU has the much better athletes and MSU has some injury problems on the OL. Thoughts?

Its going to be a tough game. Thursday night home dogs always do well + SEC road games are always tough.

IMO, LSU has the team and the focus to run the table and this being a primetime SEC opener, they will be ready to go. They also had a pretty easy game so the short turnaround wont hurt as much, while MSU is coming off a full effort loss to Auburn.

The line is going to make a bunch of people take MSU, but I think LSU will definitely take this game.

I took ML though because thursday night home dogs tend to keep it close

I actually agree with this. I give a slight coaching advantage to MSU. No doubt.

However, there is one thing that you can't overlook in this game: LSU played Northwestern State last week and MSU played Auburn. Which team do you think has had more time to prepare for tonight's game?

While Miles' in-game coaching isn't the best, he can certainly recruit and "most" of the time talent wins ball games. LSU is vastly more talented than MSU at almost every position, and I'm happy to have LSU on the ML tonight. Best of luck to everyone this week!

One more thing to add: LSU has already played Oregon, and the Ducks' offense is very similar to what Miss. State runs. The difference? Oregon has much better players at key positions than the Bulldogs. Just some food for thought. That is, if any of you fking squares actually do that (think).

LSU didnt really outplay Oregon. The Ducks repeatedly handed the ball to LSU in fantastic field position. Odds of MSU doing that real real low. Ducks beat themselves.

1. James was hurt after getting his ankle stepped on
2. Oregon had to go to the air after the turnovers
3. IMO the turnovers were careless efforts from the Ducks when I watched them, not so much LSU's doing

I can say the same thing about Mullen. Poor time management skills, trick plays to try to look pretty when really they don't have to.. LSU is a better team. This isn't the same squad as last season for the bulldogs.

LSU will win by a touchdown or more, they just have their number.
