i hear part of what you are saying but picking -180 plays isnt the right way to gamble. You WILL ALWAYS LOSE IN THE END THAT WAY

Yup, not my style at all but you have to admit he has been pretty decent over the last few weeks of finding the right big-chalk favorites......Your way is cool too, betting a lot of obscure dogs and you seem to hit a fair amount of them, the plays everyone is afraid to bet on

The whole point is finding winners though, and it's more just me being sick of opening every thread and reading through countless BS about what is the square/ sharp plays......I mean it's really not that hard to pick out what the "sharp" plays are.....If it was that easy, all everyone would do is pick them too

Brewers suck now, i said it before and I'll say it again. They had a hot streak where they looked unbeatable but now they cant even win at home.

This year so far has had more than normal big favorites winning, it's not surprising to see a guy go a run given that stat

It's not just about finding winners. I could find winners all day long at -10000 but I'm sure to hell not gonna play it. So it's not just all about finding winners. It's about making money. Make that money and then you've accomplished something. Picking winners between -200 and -300 isn't hard. Making money betting those favs is.

I think that Phillies series definitely took some confidence away.

Well obviously, and that's not the point I was trying to make.......When it comes down to it, yes it is about making money and to do that you obviously need winners.......You can follow line movement and fade the public all day long but if it was that simple, that's all anyone would do. There is no full-proof system and you really need great instincts, knowledge of the sport and league you bet on, be aware of recent team/ player trends, etc

A lot goes in to finding the correct plays, or winners.

Great post. At the end of the day, no one will hit 100%. & good luck on finding anyone to hit anywhere remotely close to that playing on a regular basis. There's steps you can take to increase your chances, but at the end of the day no one will ever be 100%.

Yes, the Brewers have been struggling.

I'm not surprised at all by brahma's "streaks." Guys like him come around SBR all the time. In and out, in and out. Win a ton over a week or two then give it all back to the books instead of being smart and cashing out.

What's downright scary is the number of posters who have said he's a "good capper." I don't even know where to begin with that.

There is no full-proof system and you really need great instincts, knowledge of the sport and league you bet on, be aware of recent team/ player trends, etc

A lot goes in to finding the correct plays, or winners.

You have to hit 66 % to break even betting -200 favs

You might get lucky and get away with it like baby brahma bull did for 15 plays.. but over the course of 30,40,50 , 100 , 200 , 300 ....etc plays.. you will get killed !!!!

The worst thing that could have happened to this kid was being succesfull betting HUGE favs for 3 weeks..he is and will continue to get buried doing this
