Yeah, thats normal for them. I dont know why they need this for gift cards though. They cant do much with just the last four anyways. I know they need it for the normal visas cause their processor cant do it without. I know this cause I gave them bogus numbers the first time and they called back saying my bank said no. Then I gave the correct last 4 and it worked.

Needing the last 4 of your SSN for a gift card transaction seems extreme to say the very least, but it's a different climate now as far as ease of funding goes.
