#83Who needs touts when there are perfectly capable people on here to follow for free. I like Pavy and ExperienceWins. There are others who ain't so bad, but I generally see what those two have to say. But I still pick my own plays. I just look at others because someone might see something I didn't.
Let SBR have the touts. SBR is free to us, but that doesn't mean it's free to run and maintain. If they need to make a buck with spam or marketing that's fine. Doing a great job SBR, keep it up!Comment -

#85Whoops. I think I understand now. If your a pro you get all kinds of spam, eh? Hmmm. Could be why I'm not registered as pro. I have an account with a book that meets the critiria and was honestly thinking about it. But now . . . . .
Sorry for the prior post. but not, "keep up the good work SBR." I stand by that comment.Comment -

#86Lets put it this way, I state my opinion on things when its gambling related.
In the past I have said a little but try not to get involved with politics, climate, war, welfare or anything else because I am here to deal with gambling.
I don't post my plays for my fukkin health. I don't write up long shit so I could practice my typing skills, and I surely don't pick on touts because I'm jealous of their plays.
SBR is the premier internet gambling forum. With covers and therx having questionable decisions lately, things only look brighter.
I applaud when they create things such as SBR points, sbrodds, and anything else. With SBRtv's interview with lawyers and sportsbook managers I have said thanks for the info. But yea, I criticize when i think some things are whore shit. Why wouldn't I? how do you expect to get better?
Clearly paying for a tout isnt the answer for anyone.
If you shot a deer to eat but found out it had a nasty disease, everyone would protect their family and not let them eat it. some of you fukks are saying that's enough and to mind your own business, let others do what they want with the dead diseased deer. well thats not enough and not what the forum is here for.

#87loshak.,..here is what i want next time:
question: are you profitable?
answer: ?
what is your winrate?
answer: ?
question: why are you not making fortunes from this and instead sell your picks
answer: ?
i assume you will follow through with this since everyone you have on is so profitable.
thanks in advanceComment -

#88despite the obvious inherent perceived flaws of such a service offer (why arent they just betting their own picks and getting rich instead of having to sell picks? and if they are selling to help other people, why arent they giving them away?)- i believe that sbr tried to help or do a good thing.
not just for themselves and the money they make off the tout service but there is also a small contingent of sbr viewers who do like touts and service plays. theres a whole service plays section.
even though it was a pretty shitty offer, it was pretty easy to discard and ignore. so no harm no foul.Comment -

#89Hmm, I don't think that is accurate. This was my first freebee PM, I had to start some where. The great thing about the forum is that feedback is given and I know in which direction to proceed in.
I appreciate you taking the time to let me know where you stand. Hopefully the next offer will be something you will be able to take advantage of.

#93often, people that are the biggest anti-tout are secretly wannabe touts themselves.
before helmut turned tout, he used to terrorize touts and anyone suspected of being a tout. turns out he just wanted all the sheep for himself.Comment -

that depends on the beer. If it's good ale or guiness, I'll take the under. If it's keystone light, I'll definitely take the over.Comment -

#103My picks are better than any touts. What is Ace-Ace's record so far 1-11?
But, if the touts were providing a whole bunch of research and did not cost a lot like the old Gold Sheet then ok. Basically paying for the research.Comment
