Yep, the clock stopping on first downs is a massive deal. I almost never bet college unders now as opposed to a few years ago.

As opposed to pro ball where unders were like 2-13 this week?

        Unders are dead in football.

Exactly. If I like an under, I simply lay off the game. It seems like 80% of the games I have a wager on go over. The books have to be getting killed with this and it doesnt seem like Vegas is making adjustments in their numbers.

Good point. We've had a lot of lopsided matchups so far.

I am the worst on TOTALS period. It has to be plainly obvious for me to play a TOTAL and even then I have to play it for less money and expect to lose.

there's only certain teams that are good for unders

Alabama for example in college is 8-3 on UNDERS last 2 seasons

here's a good website that shows all the total rankings in football - http://www.predictem.com/cfb/2010-ats-records.php

Not many teams have a defense like Bama though

I picked every single game under blindly in college football.

                                  What's my record?

you want teams with good defense, good running game and a very conservative offensive style. Bama is perfect because they try to go up like 27-10 and just kill the clock rest of the way and let their defense dominate
