ME!
What is there to say about me? I am 23 years old and played high school basketball against both Dwight Howard (SACA) and Randolph Morris (Landmark Christian). Dwight was definitely the better baller in high school. Randolph seemed to be the bigger of the two when we played them...
We almost beat Randolph's team my Sophmore year... we were actually up at halftime but the ref's screwed us like always. We kept it close against Dwight's team but they eventually put us out of the tournament. In high school Dwight was pretty lanky but he could really jump.
I remember during the tournament Dwight's team played the worst team ever... I mean they were all like fat chubby white guy's and the tallest dude on the team had to have been like 5'10. They absolutely crushed THEM! Dwight didn't even play 1 whole quarter but he had some spectacular dunks in that game. I remember talking to him that game and even had him sign my notebook (still got it). I never figured talking to him that day that he would go on to be one of the best players in the NBA. Pretty cool when you think about it.
I told the whole school I was going to dunk on Dwight Howard when we played them.... well lets just say that didn't go over so well
Just thought I'd share an interesting story for my 1000th post. Hope you guys enjoyed it! And here's to 1000 more
