Notre Dame can't be considered a "lock" to win any game right now. That team needs to learn how to finish and win. That being said, I do like the Irish -5 this weekend at home. They are going to blow sombody out of the water...and Michigan St. is no prize.

I don't judge a team's performance on what they've should of done. That's not my job. My job is figuring out what an Oddsmaker is telling people on a spread. That spread indicates to me that Notre Dame should cover. The spread should be around PK to Michigan State -2.

Technically you could use the same philosophy but the problem here is both teams are 2-0. It makes the Notre Dame play significant because Notre Dame is 0-2... there's no need to favor a team that's 0-2 against a 15 Ranked opponent.
