I split 5k with 3 or 4 other lucky bastards. One other person is 8-0-1 with a push and broncos -3 tonight. Should I hedge or just let it play out. Feedback.

#3too many potential winners...you have 4 already at 18 points...if Denver wins than the guy at 17 points wins it all alone...if he loses there are 8 more folks that can get to 18 points with their open game tonight but you only need to worry about 5 folks as 3 have Denver and it won't matter if Denver wins b/c the guy at 17 would win it solo.Originally posted by seaborneqI split 5k with 3 or 4 other lucky bastards. 2 guys have Miami and one has NE while 2 others have the over. That means if Denver were to lose you could split it with 8 folks or $625 per winner. You could hedge on Denver but I wouldn't to too much. You could have an if-lose bet on Denver and take the 2 overs as well for a tiny bit.
I might hedge on Denver for $250 and you will get your money back for the contest and a tiny bit as well.Comment -

#12Come up with a number, because I am number one in both the Carib Challenge and the Pick 10 Contest, or should I say tied for first. You sound well versed in this, what is the magic hedge number for amount and side? Thanks.Originally posted by hornsrgrttoo many potential winners...you have 4 already at 18 points...if Denver wins than the guy at 17 points wins it all alone...if he loses there are 8 more folks that can get to 18 points with their open game tonight but you only need to worry about 5 folks as 3 have Denver and it won't matter if Denver wins b/c the guy at 17 would win it solo.

#29did you hedge anything? if you didn't congrats (either way) on your 714...paid for your entry and $500...
I am hoping to hit a 10-0 or 0-10 somewhere along the way !
I have split the weekly prize 2 in the last 2 years which makes for a nice week !
Congrats again - great way to start the season !Comment -

#30Thanks Horn. Let's win some more weeks. I don't know how Carib does it. 400+entries x 200 dollars = est 90000 dollars, yet they pay a minimum of 5k per week and sometimes more for perfect 10's and 0's for 17 weeks, and then they still pay ungodly end of year payouts with a grand prize of 65k. I love it nonetheless. Good luck in the future.Originally posted by hornsrgrtdid you hedge anything? if you didn't congrats (either way) on your 714...paid for your entry and $500...
