Michigan State 5.5 Point Underdog Next Week

Hate to say it ND fans, but they're going to be 0-3 come next Saturday night.

I'm very surprised by this line. Rees played about as well as he can and they still lost to Michigan.

Michigan State is the real deal and could very well win the Big Ten this season.

Hopefully the public hits ND and drives this line closer to +7

Bro are you serious? The public is going to be all over the Spartans much like they were all over the Wolverines on Saturday. This line comes down to 4.5 and Notre Dame is the play.

I'm thinking the public reacts to watching last night's game and is all over ND. ND outplayed them last night and I think the public saw that. Line most likely won't get to +7 (or even +6.5), but my play is more about believing in Michigan State this year and not betting against Notre Dame. Tough to tell how MSU reacts in their first road game, but Cousins is an efficient QB and takes care of the football, for the most part.

But what did you see the past two weeks from ND that makes you believe their better than MSU?

I'll agree that MSU hasn't played anyone, that's obvious. But ND has failed on both sides of the ball in back to back weeks. Terrible first half on both sides of the ball vs. USF (yes, I know Crist was playing) and then an epic meltdown defensively in the second half vs. a less talented Michigan team.

I just don't think Brian Kelly can put it together this week.

Bookmakers must me smoking crack. This game gets absolutely crushed down to -2 by Saturday. Mich ST should be fav or at worst a PK but public cant imagine ND going 0-3

Turnovers have killed them obviously. We've certainly seen flashes of a very solid team though, they just need to put it together for a full game. When they're firing on all cylinders, they move the ball at will so that's what I'm banking on - that they can sustain it for a full game and limit the mistakes and turnovers.

State is way down from last year and will not win in South Bend.

State is virtually the same team minus Greg Jones. Greg Jones was the heart of the defense but was by no means their best defensive player/LB. He was just a household name. I am unsure why people expect them to be worse then last year. Record wise they may be worse but they still have the same talent.

Not sure if I'd say they "suck" and it's pretty hard to win 11 games being a "fluke," but they weren't as good as their record indicated and lost their top three defenders from a year ago. They aren't every strong in the lines either. ND is the play.
