    Betonstars
I am new to the site but have been playing for the last 15 years. I wish I would have discovered this site sooner, probably would have saved me some big time hassels.

I played at Royal forever, I mean forever, but have recently started looking around. I played at Bodog and Betonsports with mixed results, but have moved to Betjamaica over the past 6 months. The payouts there are unbelievable. Coming from Royal, it is rather shocking.

At any rate, I have to be the worst player in the game. I received a free account for many dimes from Betonstars.com with a 10 times rollover to try them out (that is how bad I am). I couldn't find much on the site regarding them, does anybody have any experience or knowledge of them

Hey MW. Welcome to the site.

I don't have experience with Betonstars (and won't be trying them any time soon). Here's what I can tell you:

SBR Bill Dozer reports: Wagering department of defunct Changeabet (SBR rating F-) opens new sportsbook BetonStars (not rated). BetonStars is a sister book of ScoreonSports (SBR rating F-) which had previously introduced itself to players as part of the Changeabet family of sportsbooks.

That's ugly, I am really happy with my experience at BetJamaica and have no intent on leaving, just have a hard time giving it a run for free. The betonstarts site is spectacular.

This is a great site...ton of great information.

In other words, stay far, far away. Only play at books B- or higher bud.

            Hello Emmdoubleu. Welcome to SBRforum.

I received a call from the "General Manager" recently who wanted to go on record as having explained who BetonStars is.

GM Mike tells me that they bought the domain from the company in the aforementioned news wire. He stated that they are in a different building and have a different staff. However, they still have the same IP address they had previously and are on the same server as the Changeabet (CAB) company was. His response to that was that they are getting their own internet service next week. Make what you will of that information.

The "original" BetonStars was owned by the service that hosted dead-beat books like CAB and 4Sportspicks. BetonStars was never mentioned because at that time it was only a credit/agent site. SBR will always acknowledge who these companies are that service junk books.

BetonStars took ScoreonSports off-line when that nw was posted. Supposedly that site was another hosted along with Changeabet but was not actually part of the CAB family. There is no way to know for sure who had their hand in what... but I do know that the old CAB people are no longer around town after a short stint working for BetMill.

BTW, I would take the free account. Can't lose anything with free money.

Thanks for the information, and the sad news is I probably can't win either. With my win% I have very little chance to survive the rollover period.

I'm not a big player but I went to them, because I was looking to put some money for help. You see wit the BIG books you need to go from extension to extension before you can get what you looking for, and long time waiting before some body realy important come over to you. Small books are good to use some times, less hassle
