I know people are getting sick of the 911 hype...though I for one am not. BUT....did you see that anthem at the Bears game? I have heard this man sing the anthem two times, and both times I got chills. They should make it a law that only he can sing the song, until he is no longer able to. Forget the R&B 30 minute butcherings of our great song....that gentleman has it right.

Unbelievable. Saw him do it last year as well, and I was impressed but kind of forgot about him. Once that voice started, and you heard the crowd go nuts it was unreal. My three year old and 10 month old both stopped being insanely loud, and just stared at the tv. Didnt make a peep.Comment -

You sir are a douchebag. If you knew the man singing was Jim Cornelison, you would know he sings the national anthem before each Chicago Blackhawk home game since the Chicago stadium.was around and its a Chicago tradition to cheer him on during the song. That only adds to the emotion of the moment.

Cornelison is close, but Wayne Messmer was the best anthem singer I have ever seen. He used to do the anthem before the Blackhawks games and I could even tell as a kid how amazing he was. Pretty tragic that he ends up getting shot in the throat by a mugger and his voice never recovers to what it was.Comment -

The best one for me was Whitney Houston in the super bowl. Also I started crying at the start of the games cause I watched footage all morning. I was in downtown Dallas that day scared for my life I think ever major city got the **** outa dodge. When I heard they hit the pentagon it really ****** me cause I figured that place was protected by missles and shit.Comment -

we do the anthem like no one else. Thats our Blackhawk singer. Chicago is known for going nuts during the entire anthem. There is no place in the country to hear a better anthem. Players say its indescribable the way it fires you up. Ive been in attendance for a lot of them and its amazing."This is why my basketball intelligence is unmatched on this site.
