Still confuses me, why the **** wasn't it counted. Why were the points not giving to USC in the game, and why were they given to them 2 hours after the game. I thought they were taking away two hours later because they celebrated too much or during the play. Ugh. I must be missing more pieces of this shit puzzle.

Players run onto the field, and it is considered Unsportsmanlike Conduct, with the pts not awarded...Pretty cut and dry...as soon as the kick was blocked, the USC idiots ran onto the field...no idea why it WAS counted.

They had to it i think because it would of set a bad precedent on this new rule. Can you imagine a ref calling off a winning TD because the bench ran on the field 60 yards behind the play? Thats not good for the game. The penalty was put in place to penalize players showboating en route to scoring a TD, but still a crazy ass game nonetheless.

Brings up an interesting point, because I'm sure tons of people already cashed their Utah tickets and now some of them probably aren't winners. On the other hand, I had Utah in an online book and they have now changed my bet from a winner to a losing ticket now and taken the money back out of my account.

Online books grading it properly at 23-14. Vegas books may have an issue since they made the game official "early" and already cashed Utah tickets as winners, so they MIGHT rule on a case by case basis. Not sure.

someone could've easily bet those online utah winnings in the sportsbook/casino/etc.

this sets a terrible precedent, to take back winnings on a pac-12 decision vs referee decision.

opie you were smart to cash that ticket immediately, vegas books probably are getting creamed if they're honoring usc bets also.
